About Community Housing Alternatives

The mission of Community Housing Alternatives is to develop affordable housing for low to moderate income families in Southeast Michigan through new construction, acquisition and rehabilitation, and homebuyer education.

Founded in 1993 as a subsidiary of Community Residence Corporation (CRC) to assist with the development of housing opportunities for persons with disabilities, our mission has evolved over the years and now includes all persons that meet the HUD definition of low to moderate income.

It is through the dedication of our devoted Staff, Board of Directors and Community Partnerships that we have been able to grown and deliver on this mission.
